Wow! This is arguable the best cyclocomputer I have ever used. I am very happy with it despite the high purchase price.
It hasn't failed me yet and has been exceptionally reliable. All the cycling functions are all I need and the HRM is more accurate and reliable than my Polar unit. Although the Polar did have much more HRM functionality, at this point in my sporting life, I don't necessarily need them... though I do miss the calorie counter function.
I took the 2006 out for a run today utilizing its "hiking" mode. Basically, it can function off the bike using a special mount that can be worn on the wrist or strapped to a pack or belt. It gives me all of the HRM functions plus the altimeter to boot. It counts the time elapsed (manual on/off) as well so I could keep track of my splits. The only thing I wish I had during the run was a compass. But, it really isn't a necessity for running... but would be useful when really hiking in the woods. But I suppose that would be where a nice GPS outfit would come in handy... hmmm.
Anyway, a very nice little unit proving to be one of my best acquisitions.
