Sub 25# Dual-Boinger

Now I've gone and done it! My full-suspension racer is officially under 25 pounds... with dirt. I did a few changes over the past week and while it was all put together this morning, before I loaded it up for this evenings ride, I tossed it on the scale. 24.78 pounds. With dirt. With computer. With HRM mount. That is just over 0.25 pound heavier than my hardtail. The same weight as a Royale with Cheese meat patty (that's a Quarter-Pounder with Cheese here in the States...) with a dab of ketchup. My hardtail with dirt and the same computer outfits come in at 24.46 pounds.

So what did I do? Nothing much at all. I changed a few small nuts and bolts and spacers to lighter selections over the past several months. But in the last week, in my overall pursuit of comfort, I installed a Syncros ProPost titanium seatpost and a Selle San Marco ASPide USPS edition saddle. I have a Syncros post on my hardtail and use an ASPide on my road bike. So hopefully this will suit me.

Pics to follow...
