3 Years Running!

I've done 5 Iceman Cometh Challenges to date. 3 of them consecutively from 2004-06. And the other 2 in 1998 and 2001. I was told that that was quite a lot... but I don't think so. Anyway, here are the last 3 years pics near the finish:

I am trying to hunt down a photo from the 1998 event somewhere in my archives to post... it was kind of a cool shot and not so "canned"; no offense to David Ditzler who has been shooting the race for quite a few years now. I have no tangible complaints about his work. I never had a photo from the 2001 event or any memorabilia for that matter. Not even a shirt....

With all of the painful finishes I've had, I'm surprised I keep coming back. In 2007, there is another race held at Crystal Mountain called the Point2Point. It is being offered due to the overwhelming turnout at the Iceman and held 2 or 3 weeks prior... good for training or an alternative, I guess. We'll see. Registration for the Iceman begins January 1, 2007.

Well, I'll be running through the winter to train for the Spring 5K runs. I might try to do a New Year's ride, but I haven't done one in years.
